Who can sign up
- ARC holders with 6 or more months left on their permitted stay.
- If less than 60 days remain, carriers do not allow a new monthly plan — use prepaid and extend your stay first.
- The contract cannot run past your permitted stay.
Phones
- Bring your own unlocked phone, or buy a phone outright at the store.
- Installment plans for phones are difficult for most foreigners — plan on paying in full or bringing your own device.
Billing
- A Korean bank account or credit card is used for monthly auto-pay.
- Your first bill is prorated from the activation date.
