How it works
- Apply online → we send you the nearest partner store → visit with your passport → the SIM is activated on the spot.
- You pay the first month’s base fee at activation, then top up monthly.
- Choose SK or KT prepaid. LG prepaid cannot be switched to a monthly plan later.
Keeping your number
- Top up before the month ends. After the paid period there is a short grace period for receiving calls (SK +10 days, KT +15 days); if you do not top up in that time, the number is cancelled.
- Ask the store about automatic top-up so you do not lose the number.
When your ARC arrives
- The prepaid number can be moved from passport to ARC at the store.
- With 6+ months of stay left you can switch to a monthly plan and keep the number (SK/KT).

What to bring
- Passport (everyone)
- Alien Registration Card (ARC) — for a monthly plan or to move a prepaid number to your name
- A Korean bank account or credit card for monthly billing (monthly plan only)
- Your phone, if you already have one — it must be unlocked
